The "Ultimate Steak & Egg Sliders"

We needed to have a power breakfast to gear up for an afternoon of shopping at Nordstroms and Saks in the Fashion Mall… and not anywhere that involved a buffet line full of tourists. I recalled seeing the Society Café on the lower level of the Encore gaming floor, so we heading over for brunch. In 2009 they were honored as one of  Esquire Magazine’s ”Best New Restaurants in America” and I can see why. The vibe is sexy and sophisticated with touches of whimsy, like the big bowl of swedish fish at the hostess stand. The highlight was the “Bloody Society” menu featuring five different interpretations of the classic Bloody Mary: a traditional Society Bloody, a Bloody Caesar, a Bloody Bull, a Ragin’ Cajun Bloody and the Dirty Mary.
